Fitler Square, just west of Rittenhouse Square, serves as a more residential settlement for those who want to be close to all Rittenhouse has to offer without sacrificing the peace and quiet. Fitler Square remains posh and charming, keeping speed with its metropolitan locale while neatly blending in an intimacy one might associate with a small suburban town. Its residents go out of their way to know one another and contribute immensely to the area’s high standards of small and local business.
Don’t be fooled, however; Fitler Square is not a quiet cul de sac. Row homes that seem torn from the page of a history book line the tree-strewn streets. The park boasts a collection of animal sculptures commissioned by the Fitler Square Improvement Association.
Philadelphia's Department of Parks and Recreation supplies annual plantings as well as contracts for services that include lawn mowing and tree and shrub care, gardening, and trash cleanup. The center of the square is adorned with an ornate Victorian-era fountain.

A mix of condos and row-homes; the condos are a wide range from high-rise buildings to low-rise buildings, one to three bedroom condos, some with parking some without. The row-homes range from tiny trinities at 600 square feet to luxurious new construction over 5,000 square feet with parking and multiple roof decks.
