Queen Village is the longest established neighborhood in Philadelphia. It started as a working class area that was a suburb of the original city of Philadelphia but was later included into the city limits in the mid-1800’s. You will find your fair share of historical homes nestled in among the other amazing row homes , however it also offers some modern touches such as new cafes and restaurants, boutique shopping and of course Fabric Row.
Queen Village is bordered by Pennsport to the South and Society Hill to the North as well as Bella Vista to the West.
Queen Village is an area where you can walk to almost everything you would need including public transportation. It is also very close to all major highways. Don’t miss the farmers market on the weekends at Head House Square and Mario Lanza Park at 2nd and Queen Streets for fun family get togethers.
